Tarmac Access Road & Reinstatement Project
This project highlights a high-standard tarmac reinstatement and surfacing scheme delivered by Total Surfacing Solutions. The works began with the careful breakout and removal of deteriorated sections of the existing surface, ensuring all failed areas were fully excavated to create a sound foundation for the new installation. Once opened, the area was prepared with accurate levels, proper falls, and thorough compaction to form a stable sub-base ready for resurfacing. All underground services were clearly identified and protected, allowing the works to be completed safely and in full compliance with site requirements.
With the preparation phase completed, new base layers were installed and compacted to provide a solid platform for the final tarmac surface. The surfacing was then machine-laid and rolled to achieve a smooth, even finish, delivering a durable roadway neatly tied into the surrounding areas. Clean joints and precise transitions ensure both visual quality and long-term performance.
