Tarmac Surfacing Works
This project involved the installation of new tarmac surfacing to create a durable access road and external hardstanding area within a commercial site. The existing surface was upgraded to provide a smooth, hard-wearing, and visually clean finish suitable for regular vehicle movements and pedestrian use, while delivering a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution designed to perform in all weather conditions.
The area was carefully prepared to ensure a stable and well-compacted base, with close attention paid to surface levels, falls, and drainage to promote effective water run-off. Edge restraints and transitions were precisely formed to ensure the new surface integrated seamlessly with surrounding features and maintained a neat, professional appearance throughout.
The tarmac was then machine-laid and fully compacted using specialist equipment to achieve a smooth, even finish with consistent thickness across the entire area. The completed surfacing now provides a strong, reliable, and weather-resistant solution that enhances site access, improves safety, and delivers a clean, modern finish built to withstand daily use with minimal ongoing maintenance.
