Our team was appointed to resurface a worn and uneven playground area at a property in Hendon, London. The client required a safe, durable, and visually clean surface suitable for heavy daily use. The focus of this project was to deliver a high-quality tarmac finish that would improve both safety and appearance, ensuring the space could be enjoyed for years to come.
Scope of Work
The project began with the removal of the existing deteriorated surface, followed by ground preparation to create a strong and stable foundation. A new base course was installed before applying a hot-lay tarmac layer. Using precision surfacing equipment, the tarmac was laid and compacted to provide a smooth and even finish. Care was taken around access points, building edges, and high-traffic areas to ensure a seamless result throughout the playground.
